From what I can tell from reading your blog, the North Carolina pass/fail rate is as dismal as other states' pass/fail rates indicating that the videos do not improve the quality of instruction in North Carolina.Karennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-780930663958803357.post-54281812064807698382018-03-30T14:11:02.451-07:002018-03-30T14:11:02.451-07:00It's a shame that things are done this way in ...It's a shame that things are done this way in NC. Different teaching styles are what make us unique. Licenses should be based on knowledge not videos! Not everyone is a good actor for the camera. Why would the commission only give licenses to good actors. I'd rather have a great teacher. I was lucky enough to be taught by Ron Climer!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-780930663958803357.post-52854112382807201212018-03-30T08:12:53.042-07:002018-03-30T08:12:53.042-07:00Interesting post. That said a video opens the NCREC to huge liability on the subjective basis of a video. ie racism, sexism, reverse racism. Its a mean girls way of withholding a license. To hear you, with decades of instructional success, were rejected initially; is shocking and appalling. Politics should have no place in licensing.Cynthia Wensinger Andrewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00715174012214945694noreply@blogger.com
