How Many Questions Are On The North Carolina Real Estate Exam?

In order to get your North Carolina real estate license, you have to attend a 75 hour real estate class at an approved real estate school in North Carolina.  This must be done in a live classroom with a live real estate  instructor.  On line courses are taboo for pre license real estate students.

The exam for this class has 112 questions.  Most approved real estate schools use the exam that is written by the staff of the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.  The school decides what is a passing grade.  At First Real Estate School in Hendersonville, North Carolina, a 75% is passing.  www.firstrealestateschool.com   That is 84 correct out of 112.

After you get out of real estate school, there is a 140 question test called the North Carolina Real Estate Exam that every real estate license applicant has to pass.  It comes in two parts.  The 100 question "general" exam and the 40 question "North Carolina Only" exam.  If you fail either one of these exams, you will be required to pay $164 to try again.  I suggest that you pass the first time.

If you would like a sample of the questions or if you are soon taking the North Carolina real estate exam, check out my sample test at www.ncreexam.com If you are soon taking the North Carolina real estate exam, be prepared.  The pass rate is 59%.
